Was a huge success!
Thank you to the hundreds if not a thousand plus people who joined us for this special occasion. Mike Green from The Mechanical Eye Studios in Nashville drove up for the event and shot several hundred photos of the event, and behind the scenes photos from that afternoon. As so many people have asked for copies of those pictures, Mike made arrangements with his commercial photo lab for special discounted pricing on these images. From wallet sized photos, to the official group shot by the signed banner as a 24X16 inch custom print, copies are available on line by following the "view photo gallery" button. It will take you directly to the private photo gallery. If you have any questions about ordering prints, large quantities, or any issues ordering, please email Mike at themechanicaleyephoto@gmail.com
At age 64, after his second heart surgery, Dan’s doctor suggested stress relief, Dan found music. He learned to play guitar, discovered his baritone voice and started writing his own songs.
His method of blending real life stories with music is heartwarming. He has been recovering from alcohol for over 30 years; owned eight companies and had 82 employees’. He pours his reconstructed heart into his music, just like he has done with everything in his life.
"There are times in our lives, and in the arc of the entertainment industry, a unique voice appears with hundreds of songs, scribbled on notepads, complete with coffee stains and dog eared corners. But in those lyrics are the emotional stories that touch peoples lives. Like a classic poet, he captures in prose, life's emotions of love and pain, the causes we fight for, the faith we strive for every day we are still alive."
